Is hiring a photographer worth it?

ABSOLUTELY.

Not to be biased here, after all I am a photographer, but yes. Hiring a professional to capture images of your special occasion, or to document life’s treasures, is so important and we need to re-enforce that connection. A photographer is more than just a person behind a camera, you get their experience and their vision too.

The best use of your money is in exchange for experiences. Having a portrait session – with hair and makeup tailored for you – is an empowering experience.

Don’t spend thousands on a dress, venue, food and not spend funds on a quality photographer. They are there to capture the most important pieces of your special day. They are there to make sure it is all documented, and might catch moments, or guest reactions, that you will cherish for the rest of your life.

So, yes. I do think hiring a photographer is worth it. Please invest in yourself and in experiences. You won’t regret it.
